Free for all Danvers children, this program has an “open door” policy which permits children to come and go from the parks as they desire, with the exception of special events. Additional fees are required for special events and trips such as the Danvers Firemen’s Muster, Playground Carnival, Canobie Lake Park, Franklin Park Zoo, and Mini Golf. Information and registration for Park Trips coming soon!

Each park site is staffed by two Danvers Rec summer counselors who will provide children with games, activities, arts & crafts and a safe, fun summer for all. Participants must be pre-registered for the summer to attend the program. For children in grades 1-8.

New this summer, join the Danvers Rec Youth Summer Basketball League, led by Tony Mataragas of North Star Basketball Training. This outdoor basketball program is designed for boys and girls in grades 3 - 8. Participants will be divided into teams of 10 for league play.

The format includes officials, scorekeeping, and playoffs. The registration fee is $150 and includes a team t-shirt. Program will be held indoors in cases of inclement weather.

7 & 8: 7:30-8:30

In Danvers Youth Wrestling your child will learn: Balance, Strength, Coordination, and overall body awareness. Wrestling will teach courage and confidence to conquer adversity and allow them to be stronger mentally and physically. Here at Danvers Youth Wrestling we focus on the basics of the sport to build these core fundamentals.
For boys and girls in grades 4-8.

Kids ages 4+ and a parent or guardian are invited to come get their hands dirty helping to take care of the barn animals of Endicott Park. They will get to feed the animals, re-bed the stalls, collect eggs, and maybe even groom the smaller animals! Each class will largely be the same, so please sign up for ONLY ONE DATE to begin with. If your child would like to come back, you may sign up for another date! Boots or shoes that can get dirty are recommended.

Siblings under the age of 4 will only be able to watch, so please bear this in mind!
